Annual Evaluation of Tutoring and Interventionist Programs
Prepared in Response to Shaw et al. v. LAUSD Settlement

This report fulfills the annual evaluation requirement established under the court-approved settlement in Shaw et al. v. Los Angeles Unified School District. Consistent with the settlement agreement, this evaluation examines student outcomes associated with participation in the District's tutoring and interventionist programs. Specifically, the report analyzes changes in student attendance and i-Ready English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics assessment results between baseline and end-of-year, assesses whether those changes are statistically significant, and explores factors associated with student improvement.

These federally mandated reports summarize how the LAUSD allocated between $425.5 million and $530 million in Title I funding each year. They describe how funds were distributed across districtwide and school-based programs, the goals of those efforts, and the extent to which those goals were met.
